I on the other hand prefer to stick my phone in the upright position and assume that is why there is a cutout for the cable to run through in a neat and inconspicuous way. bends cable too much near the connector. it’s OK — the cable gets kinked a bit because the space between the front of the holder and the base is too narrow for the cable shield to fit without bending the cable to a harsh angle, so i’m threading the cable under the front of the stand instead.
Honshu Solid Portable Phone Stand The picture makes it look like the phone is more slanted (leaning back) than you can actually get it to do. Therefore the charging cord is at a sharper bend than it appears in the picture. I worry about the wear on my cable. But it is a perfect size, doesn’t take up a lot of space and its east to set the phone on. I may even get another one if I don’t see something else this small and well balanced, with a bit more tiltability.
