Just what I needed for my iPhone 7 plus with a case on If you want to use this for a tripod, then you could probably find tripods or mini tripods that cost almost the same as this adapter, and include both the tripod and phone adapter… BUT I don’t think you could find a tripod as good as this one for $10. Great tripod mount adapter! Works great on my tripod. Feels a little plastic-y, but not in a way that means it’s either flimsy or unstable. It’s solid enough for what I’m doing (HDR sunset timelapses). Mounts with a standard tripod mount screw. I have a Google Pixel XL with a thin case, and it fits just fine in this.
